This is a request for proposals (RFP) for the identification of a backbone organization.
Tackling racial inequalities head on is critical to dramatically improving results for low-income people.
“Place-based” initiatives, which 20 years ago may have been called “comprehensive community initiatives,” bring much needed resources to struggling communities.
There is a growing concern that the robust notions of community can sometimes be left out of collective impact discussions and implementation efforts.
