Eric Liu, founder and CEO of Citizen University and executive director of the Aspen Institute Citizenship and American Identity Program, and Norm Rice, former Seattle Mayor and former CEO of the Seattle Foundation, will participate in an engaging dinner conversation moderated by Steve Patrick, vice president and executive director of the Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions. Rice and Liu will address a range of topics, including how to invest in community leadership in a concrete way, how to meaningfully engage the public sector in collective impact, the challenges of addressing equity and inclusion through collective impact, and how funders can operate in communities in a way that honors local values.
