2017 Collective Impact Convening

, Boston, MA

The Collective Impact Forum invites you to join us on May 23-25, 2017, in downtown Boston for our annual field-wide convening on collective impact.

The 2017 Collective Impact Convening brings together funders, backbones, partners, and community members for cross-sector dialogue and peer learning to tackle complex issues in the collective impact field.

  • Call for Session Proposals is now closed. The deadline to submit a session proposal was Sunday, December 11, 2016.

  • Scholarships & Registration: Click here to register and learn more about scholarships. Scholarship applications must be submitted by 5:00pm PT on January 6, 2017.

In addition, hold the date for two pre-conference sessions on the morning of May 23 (before the full conference begins the afternoon of May 23). These two pre-conference sessions will run concurrently:

  • For Collective Impact Funders: Engage in funder-only discussions with fellow leaders from private foundations, United Ways, community foundations, corporations, public sector agencies, and other funders. Attendees of this funder pre-conference will discuss topics including Board buy-in, funder roles, balancing short-term and long-term wins with investing in collective impact, and more.

  • For Backbone Leaders: Participate in a “backbone bootcamp” for those exploring or currently playing the backbone leadership role in collective impact. This bootcamp is targeted to those who are in the early stages of their collective impact journey. Participants of this pre-conference will explore topics such as understanding the nuts and bolts of collective impact, clarifying the roles and leadership characteristics of the backbone, and determining the proper governance structures (e.g., steering committee, working groups) to sustain action and momentum in collective impact.

We Hope You Will Join Us in Boston!
