Welcome, we’re glad you’re here!

,

Welcome to Collective Impact Forum’s website! We are excited to have you join this new community, designed to meet the demands of those who are practicing collective impact in the field.

While the rewards of collective impact can be great, the work is often demanding. We hope that the Collective Impact Forum will be a place that helps you to find what you need to be successful in your work, whether you’re just starting out using collective impact, or have been using collective impact for years.

The Collective Impact Forum is an expanding network of like-minded individuals, coming together from across sectors to share useful experience and knowledge. Together, we are accelerating the effectiveness, and further adoption, of the collective impact approach as a whole.

As you begin exploring this community, we wanted to draw your attention to the key features of the Collective Impact Forum:

Community Discussion:  the Collective Impact Forum is a place for those practicing collective impact to learn from each other across issues and locations. Here you can connect with others in the community about successes, challenges, and lessons learned.

Resources: we have a growing library of resources and tools from thought leaders and practitioners across the field, so that you can find what you need to support your collective impact work.  We hope you will consider sharing the resources and tools that have been most helpful to you in your collective impact efforts, so that others in the field can also learn from your experiences, too.

Communities of practice: For those interested in deeper peer learning about collective impact, we will be supporting two communities of practice within the Collective Impact Forum: one for the backbone teams guiding collective impact initiatives, and one for funders of collective impact. The members of these communities of practice will have both in-person and virtual learning opportunities, in addition to dedicated discussion spaces. These learning opportunities will address key questions like, “How do we evaluate collective impact?” What skills does the backbone team need to succeed?” “How do we sustain a collective impact initiative over time?” …and many others.

To get started, we hope you will create a member profile, and then update it to include your location, initiative, issue areas, and more – adding this information will help us serve up the content that will be most useful for you. FSG, the Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions, and our partners welcome your suggestions for key topics to explore on the website or in our communities of practice, and look forward to learning with you!
