I am Managing Director for the Institute’s Programs and Services portfolio, of which AmericaServes and our community-based work resides. Before joining the IVMF, I served in three key capacities across the military-connected sector: as Senior Fellow for Veterans Affairs at the New York State Health Foundation; president and CEO of the Rochester, NY-based Veterans Outreach Center Inc.; and Director of the New York State Division of Veterans’ Affairs. I’m also a 26-year veteran of the active U.S. Army including service overseas in Germany, Korea, and in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I am a graduate of the Army War College and have commanded through the battalion level, as well as served on the Joint Staff and as Speechwriter to the Secretary of the Army.
